Reading: 1. READ!  2. Blog - Choose a nonfiction text.  What is the title?  Identify the text structure.  How do you know it's organized that way?  Is it a disaster text?  Achievement?  Neither?  How do you know?  Is it a narrative or expository?  Is there an underlying idea?  At least one paragraph (6-8 sentences) and comment on two blogs you have not commented on before.

Vocab: Vain - Someone who is vain takes extreme pride in their own beauty, intelligence, or other good qualities.  Ex: He was so vain, he spent hours in front of the mirror.

Social Studies:  Fix and Return Colonial Packet.  Mistakes are highlighted.  Please make sure you annotated.

Math: Orange Book #3 pages: 5, 11, 23, 26, 27

Reading: 1. READ!  2. Blog - Choose a photo (or a couple of photos) from a nonfiction text (this can be from a book you borrowed in class, a magazine, a newspaper, an article online, etc) and blog about what the photo teaches you.  If you know how to upload photos onto the blog - go for it!  What does this photo tell you about the period in time?  What is going on in the photo?  Write at least one paragraph describing what you learned from reading this photo.
