Reading: Blog two paragraphs about a theme in one of your historical fiction books.  It can be a book you are currently reading or one you have read in the past.  Provide support for your theme.  Two comments.

Vocab: Emanate - to give off.  Ex: Intelligence emanated from him. Ex: The smell of fresh bread emanated from the oven.

Science:  We're recording WEATHER MOVIES tomorrow!  Don't wear green!  If you want to take a look at your lines you can, however, we'll have time to practice tomorrow.

Math:  Math Sheet (2-sided)

For those who have been out sick, start working on the make up work.  Don't do it all in one night.

Reading: Blog - two paragraphs.  1. Examine how different characters are responding differently to a situation.  2. What does that tell you about him/her?  3. Update us on what is currently happening in your book.

Vocab: Massacre - A large number of people are killed.  Ex: Three hundred people were killed by the soldiers.

So... when you get to The Boston Massacre in Social Studies, think... was it really a massacre?  Why was it called that?

Science:  Weather Sheet.  Use your Science Notebook to help you, if necessary.

Reading: 1. READ!  2. Typing - Learn to bust a capital word.

Vocab: Nomad - A member of a group of people who travel from place to place rather than living in one place all the time.  Ex: The nomadic tribe of the western Sahara.

Math: 1 sheet, 2 sides (don't forget to simplify the fractions after adding/ subtracting)
