HW 9/17

Happy Monday! Vocab word of the day: Oblivious - If you are oblivious to something, you are not aware of it. Ex: Jack walked through the woods, oblivious to the dangers around him. Reading: 1. Book review on dogobooks.com. 2. Blog - Study your reading log. Post how much you read in one minute? Twenty minutes? Are your reading muscles stronger at home or school? Where is your reading place at home? Does this spot help your reading life to be the best it can be? 3. READ!

TIME for Kids (due Wednesday) - 10 multiple choice questions and 1 response.  Select 1 response to answer.  A.  If you want to be a Student Council Representative, write a paragraph describing why you would make a good representative.  You must include at least 3 reasons why you would make a good representative.  B.  If you don't want to run to be a Student Council Representative, write a paragraph describing the qualities you think make a good representative.  You must include at least 3 qualities that would make a good representative.

NOTE:  Not all students in 5B received the assignment - you'll receive a paper copy tomorrow.

Math- 1 sheet (2 sides) of Number Puzzles; Fix and Returns (F + R)
